Andy Anderson

Andy Anderson lived in Hastings during his years. His career included driving hot rods from 1949 to 1952 in the Nebraska Hot Rod Racing Association and late big cars from 1950 through 1957 with the IMCA and CRA. Cars he drove included the famed Goodrich Belle of Belleville, and the Les Vaughn Offy. He won over 60 feature events in roadsters and big cars in 15 states. Anderson was an official for the Indy 500 from 1976 through 1998. He was inducted into the Nebraska Auto Racing Hall of Fame in 1998.
