Our Mission
General Curtis LeMay

General Curtis LeMay promoted sports car races on Strategic Air Command (SAC) bases for several years in the early 1950s. On July 5, 1953, at Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, an incredible 55,000 fans turned out to watch Masten Gregory win a 200-lap sports car race. LeMay was inducted into the Nebraska Auto Racing Hall of Fame in 2004.
