Jim Schuman was first exposed to racing in 1954 when his father, Bill, began racing stock cars. Over the next six decades, Schuman has been a driver, mechanic, car builder and one of the most talented artists in the sport. Schuman was the driving force behind the Museum of American Speed as the initial Curator/Restoration Manager of the attraction.
