George Roseland had a stellar career in drag racing starting in 1952. In the top eliminator class, Roseland competed in the first U.S. Nationals at Great Bend, Kan. He has also been a guiding influence in the Soap Box Derby since 1985. Roseland was inducted into the Nebraska Auto Racing Hall of Fame in 2004.
